My comfort travels through simple days in life

Another sound joins
for one second of beauty;
Golden chords playing.
Contaminated in desperation,
my heart longs for your voice to heal its wounds.
Though weary, my mind seeks restoration.

Spend some time with me and watch the dawn break.
Linger a while longer,and to me cling.
Let it all collide and watch the world wake...
The monster knocks,knocks knocks,
collectively at our minds and lingers there
daring to be moved away from its throne.
