Poems from xoxocammie
I'm Cameron. I reside in Pennsylvania and use writing as a way of openly expressing thoughts that are buried inside my head. I do not claim to be anything wonderful, just a young person who is willing to share with you my own individual memories and stories - if you read in-between the lines. Thanks so much for visiting.
I can see the pain in your eyes
I can see what she’s putting you through
You’ve turned into a different man
Baby, you don’t even look like...
That warm September morning
I was not expecting what I saw
Your face appeared in the crowd
And I knew an angel had fallen
Your eyes, brown...
It was a very cold October
The darkness in her heart showed
Mommy was leaving Delaware
And on that day it snowed
Crying inside the house...
“If a boy hits you, that means he likes you!” I was told on the playground in first grade
“Your bra straps are distracting” I was told...
The day will come when high school will be a distant time
And you’ll look back on all the memories
The laughing, the crying, the bad break...
