into the crumpled paper

like waves crashing on the shore

Down beneath the overgrown trees
Below the soil and the cherry bees
Beyond the mangrove groves and the fairy fees
Along the pearly rail...
You absence should be illegal because it’s so fatal
You leave and take part of my heart in your back pocket
Your anger is a double blade...
I am nobody floating on a blank page
I drift towards nowhere, through nothingness
White noise creates static in my ears
I see nothing...
