Being One with the Earth
Learn more about other poetry terms
Earth, not even that cool,
Just a speck of dust, like a tiny molecule,
So many animals as far as the eye can see,
And even more under the sea,
Rain,
wet droplets hit my face
That time of year surely brings me faith
As the water weighs me down I pray
that maybe I'll be able to touch your base
We claim we didn't know
If only we knew
I'm sorry for what we did
Earth
I'm sorry for what we do
The earth, so cold, the people upon it made her that way.She gives and gives and all we do is take.
