A new day with, new challenges, daily affirmations, halfway keep us on track, insisting that we stop, so we do, now feeling deep dismay, alternating between anger and despair,
Wasted days filled with dreams, Dreams made up of meaningless nights, But the nights destroy the days, And doomed are we who see it.
An old truck, Two old souls, A shared moment, On an old dusty road. A cold night, Deep in contrast, With the two warm bodies, Forging what shouldn't be cast.
When it seems I'm alone, I'm not, I have my mind, And my soul, My morals, My life, To look back on, To hold tight, To introspect with, To think of solutions, I'm not alone.
