The fall of the rain The pittering on windows Serves to inspire me.

As rain droplets race down the window He sits there staring out wondering what it would be like to be water He sits there in awe at something so natural That he is beautiful
My mother takes the children out to play. With their jackets zipped up And their shoes tied tight, They run into the field of grass,
It's simple what makes me happy. The smile that lights my face, Comes from the words written, So beautifully across a page.   And I love it when it's dark, When the sun's gone for the day,
