Carelessly drifting My mind on my soul The music takes me away. Desperately seeking My mind on the journey And the thought of finding the way.
I saw a light, Shine so bright. I knew t’would remain I knew there’d be no pain. Days came and went Some not well spent.
I know who I am.
You show me who I am And more importantly who I’m not. You show me what I don’t have More often than what I’ve got.  
The last time the leaves turned orange I didn’t take notice Because I was too busy being sad And crying myself to sleep at night And wondering why
