'cheating’

Caring is like roses beauty and thorns
Pain when trust is broken demolished and torn
Love when change blossums cause you never cared
Certainly not enough to tell me all the other people you've paired
Breaking glass shatteres on the floor,
My life I can feel no more,
every action a stone,
every tear alone,
thundering evermore.
I try to escape,
to drown out the hate,
to undo what I have done,
Crumpled and torn away from these branches
These feelings have began to fall this fall
Once a bright summer green became ashes
You were once a maple tree oh so tall
Love
Enters
Reality
Someday.
Previously, it was me before you.
It’s now lost time.
Seeing you hurts.
It is necessity.
What is “it?”
