This is a story about a little girl
Who spent her childhood
Caring for her siblings
Loving them with great passion.
This little girl’s biological mother had a boyfriend
He was abusive
Two celestial bodies roam the skies
So different, so unique, but still linked through life.
One makes a big entrance at every arrival
With bursts of pinks and purples announcing her strides.
He scarred me
Without my consent
Waking up in the middle of the night
To someone inside of me
