Your fingers slowly push on my shoulder, And lower back, Quietly pulling me closer to you. Until our hearts are pressed together, Beating as one.
Sometimes I wonder, If the storm clouds that have always been over my shoulder, Haunting me, Live in my eyes too. Because it does not seem to stop raining here,
I’m so drunk. On the Whiskey that is the vibrant wildflowers. On the Vodka that is birds chirping in the morning, awakening my sleepy mind with joyful melodies.
I took my first breath Felt the air of inspiration enter my new lungs. Realizing the importance of words, The necessity of love,
You play music. An entire decade of your life so far has been dedicated to the production of sound. For me that same decade was spent on the back of a horse.
12:00 AM Good morning I will look at you Smile softly because it’s midnight and time to sleep   1:00 AM Still awake

I balanced my back Flat. In looong grass. Felt the tickle of butterflies landing on my tummy And with the dandelions that sway in the field
She laid down in her light pink bed Her body of gold glowing a little less than usual. She cried sparkly tears, Blew her nose into pearly white tissues,

I’ve always wondered what I look like to other people. Maybe, as I walk the halls, People only see my mottled grey-black skin and

His long slender hands, Pressed on the keys, As he played that beautiful brass saxophone, The melodious music dancing into my heart.
Never expected his hands to grab there, Invading my body that parasite, His arm on my throat I could catch no air, He would never hurt me he wouldn’t bite.

The sun Set on the King, His crown gleaming as he, Shrieked with hatred That the sun was commanding the attention Of the world.
His tendrils wrap around your body and pull you closer, His gummy hands caressing your neck, His hot black breath whispers in your ear.
My feeling for you is the elation you feel when you see a shooting star, And your heart climbs into your throat with exhilaration.
I look at the doorway in which the only light in the apartment pierces the abyssal hallway. I look at the tattered shower curtain that lay on the white tile.
You awaken with bright blue eyes, They twinkle with flecks of your future.   Wrapped in the blanket of love, You are safe In your mother’s arms.
