Being me, I would say was the greatest thing, Despite these days when I'm pained, Back then I knew I could do anything, These days I'm just watching the rain, Used to spend hours and hours reading,
Welcome to the carnival of life Where brilliance shines, flashing lights Where memories are our currencies Where affection is shared like cotton candy Where strength is measured in courage
Welcome to the carnival of life Where brilliance shines, flashing lights Where memories are our currencies Where affection is shared like cotton candy Where strength is measured in courage
Come one, come all Cotton candy clouds Carnival of color   All alone I fall Deeper in this daydream   Come one, come all Bright blistering balloons Blowing by briskly
“It's so much fun! It's so much fun!” Said the deliriously happy red and white stripes, gliding up and down the flaps of the grand tent “It’s so much fun! It's so much fun!”
Inside of the seeing ball,  I see nothing at all.  Not a future,   not a past,   I can not see past all this foggy stuff, God blast!  Then the smoke clears,  and a hideous face appears,
Like a roller coaster, the future is unpredictableBumps in the path, small obstacles to overcomeTwists, turns, a quick changing of plansSudden drops, butterflies in your stomachThe future is a carnival
On a horse, gallopingat full speed. A giraffeto the left; a lion chasing.Around and aroundyou go on my carousel. You do not know me butso many of your naturehave passed through here
Shots are being fired, but it's all in my head The stabbing memory that nothing was said The screaming inside is getting so loud I'm just waiting for that final silence to kill of my rage, the dirt, the dark black cloud
Neon lights at dusk. Spinning silhouettes in the dirt, a cigarette butt on rusted paint. The tribal fringe and fireworks. The smells of hay and grease.
In a deep dark forest, there is a caravan of traveling strangers Hosting a creepy carnival, with many possible dangers
