Hey you, come join our squad You’ll be so great, the audience most definitely will applaud…   ...For us. We’re a team You better believe we’ll shine bright and gleam
Glancing at them, So graceful and high. I couldn't help myself, So eager to try. Here came my opportunity, Heart racing, hands sweating.  Jumping in, riding all the way,

I didn't know How to make it On my own I could recreate But not create My words Were their words My smile Was their smile Until their words Inspired my words
Cheerleading is a lifelong friend. It's a huge part of my life and it will never come to an end. The sport is very friendly and always makes me smile. Unlike other sports that can make you competitive and hostile.

Cheerleaders are too perky,
Living in this moment   The crowd is all around us They scream for our team Teamwork is everything We live in this moment   The hours of practice The days of hard work

  By Laura Lewis   Today is the day. All the hours spent in the gym will finally pay off. You have constantly heard your coach yell, "You better tighten up tops!"
Camera lights flashing,  hundreds of people clapping. I did it; WE did it. The smiles, the laughs. The friendships that will always last. How did I get so lucky? Stepping onto that mat;
Hip hip hooray Is what they think we say. As we actually say "5,6,7,8!"   Lifting others high above us, buiding trusts when we catch before they fall, there's a special bond between us,
Smile on my face 5, 6, 7, 8 Cheerleading. It's in my blood. 12 years of it. 12 entire years of my life. 12 years of pom poms, dancing, cheering on the crowd.
People ask us why we cheer, But I ask them, can't they hear? When we yell and shout across the field, We do it to see the other team yield.   We chant, we stunt, we smile till our cheeks hurt.
Rah- Rah- Ree! This is Greek to me In Cheer, we dont say this  That thought you can dismiss
  I fly high in the air Then plummet towards the unforgiving track, Seconds from impact I am embraced by the strong arms Of girls who trust me To not fall too hard
That day I felt like I touched the sky The feeling was like no other I learned how to fly   I loaded in to the hands of my team mates Got set and pushed off the ground
I go up, I go down. They spin me backwards and all around.  "Oh, look what you've done now.' They say as Sarah lays on the ground.  We get hurt, we get injured We get broken, we get limbered.
Who the hell made you queen? You have a comment on everything Never a smile, only a frown All you do is tear us down You only scream and yell Making a cheerleader's life a living hell
