My lips temble and shake.  Every word I try to stip out dies at my lips, or tumbles out in a broken and hollow way. Words can't ever reflect how I feel, and how I feel is empty.   I try so hard to soak in sunlight. 
The beast inside us all are growing. We trudge through the tall landscapes looking for lasting immortality. We judge others for their constellations, and disagree on the faulty moon craters.
White. Just write. On the blank pages. Your life. A story not yet written in stone. They make erasers for a reason. But you wrote in pen. Forget him. While you're begging for him, you're forgetting yourself. Dry your tears.

The way we see ourselves is a very powerful thing. It not only builds or breaks the fortress around us it allows others to step into our realms and puncture our castles. It displays vulnerability and hides destruction.

The conversation in my mind is like the round of applause that rang after your favorite band played that summer. Spirited and wracked with resolution, except in my mind, in strands of complicated arguments.  
  The skin that I am in is my own For it is something that  I could never loan It is the bark on my bones the shell on my back It is the canvas of life for the voice that I lack
Poems stalk through the crowd to where they can be soft to the ear, But somehow the words are very clear  And cleverly placed to where each syllable has a purpose. It resonates deep within.
  Words spill onto the paper from my pen. Words that shape and create new realities. All our secrets here lay bare. Truth made plain in black-and-white. Here there is no maybe. Here everyone is free.
Somebody once handed me a flyer. It read  “YOU EXIST”   The aftertaste of such an idea lasted long beyond the introduction   Existence. A vibrating silhouette of an idea

We can't wait for it to get here, but when it's here it quickly goes away. Reality smacks us in the face when we realize we can't hold on to it.
I have been through... the innocents the confused feeling the love the lies the let down the wishful thinking the love the safe feeling the heart break the sleepless nights
You can't live without love if you've loved, and if love should ever leave, the Heart, unyielding to the Mind's pressing, yearns, and comes to settle for a counterfeit.
I hold on to pain From which nothing is gained Remembering times When I was trampled down Down into the ground Beneath the soil where the bugs lay Instead of rot, I sought reality
Falling down, the fiery leaves plummet to a cold rigid Earth. How time goes so fast, it soars. A gust of wind brings them home, to become a mountain for kids soon to appear.
