Le crapaud qui coasse
Le crapaud qui crache
Est malade
Le temps et le vent passent

Survival
In seventh grade bio, I learned about camouflage. Like all textbooks, chameleons, and tigers, and zebras lined up the pages to put faces to the definition.
You may be overseas but you're still in our hearts
We're not together now but you consume every thought
There's not a day we don't wish you were here
and every night is ended in prayer
for you
Angels, as it is said, are here to protect,
To save us from pain, suffering and neglect.
My angels are here, on earth, across the sea,
Fighting for my country, for you and for me.
