The wind will rip through your hair. The rain will pound on the ground. The thunder will roar overhead. But you msut stand your ground.   The shots will be fired. The dust will rise.
Renisha (This poem is dedicated to Renisha McBride, a Detroit teenager who was murdered by a man who is using the defense of “Stand Your Ground”.)
Justice needs justice Peace needs peace The law needs equality And guns we need the least Innocence and guiltiness is in disguise of people and the color of their skin
I praise every Black mother who raises her son, Having to warn him of the dangers his beautiful skin has won. Teaching him to be sensitive and ensuring he grows strong.
