It was told that a leader of many
Would not see the morning moon.
That the giver of plenty,
Would die too soon.
Today, he decides to live alongside The Light’s curse.
You sure that man in the mirror is really me
Cause it aint the man I used to see
I've been pushin' that line for a long time
Deciding not to see, choosing to be blind
Living life as a college student is tough.
Realizing the chances of getting a job straight out of work is rough.
School is rough.
Life is damn tough.
Life is a struggle
Sometimes you get smuggled
It is hard as a rock
Not easy to be unlocked
Some say you need a heart of steel
My words are very real
Man I'm tired of living life everyday the same Struggle, putting in overtime and working straight doubles. Nothing has ever been handed to me on a platter, I'm just trying to climb a neverending ladder.
