There's just too much of the world in a dayTo simply abandon for a broken sleepThe rain is tempting and absurdHushing and freezingLike the woman all the lonely things yearn for and never haveThe darkness, the other mistress; My bed's a pit of pleas
Drooping eyes struggling To catch one last glimpse of a Conscious, restless world
The clock ticks, And the hours go by, Even though the darkness doesn't abide.   You wait for the dawn, Your eyes red and drawn, but your mind is a turmoil,  Reqeusting, Demanding,
I can't sleep but thats ok Yesterday's become today, Thinking about all I've had Insomnia is not so bad But each new dawn's a passing day And passion has avoided me, Still can't sleep,
Imagine you were young again. Your parents told you to go to sleep. You would never listen. you stayed up. Just. To imagine.
Make a wish for me When the stars fill up the sky As the hours pass you by Dream a dream for me think of only love when the stars above are winking at the moon that's shining on your pillow
