She heard a fly buzz. Surrounded by anticipating eyes. But she’d been fed lies  To glamorize  It all just because.  
the thick, hot air hit my skin as i stepped outside  as i walked to my dads car, the serence silence was interrupted by whistles and hollers i look up to see a car driving away filled with men much older than me   
From a young age, we female-bodied people are taught many things:   That our worth will not depend on who we are inside, but instead on The size of our waists,
Yes mother I have a stomach Yes mother I know that when I wear tight dresses that stomach shows But no mother I will not go change I will not return the dress
