Dear Childhood, I had been  wrapped In your warm, comforting arms For seventeen years But then, as the minutes ticked away to midnight I felt your grip loosen as you prepared
The day after the graduation 6/10  Visited the best friend at a college house  Got to catch up and had a spontaneous time 11 o'clock Was told to close my eyes 
I checked my phone countless times that day. You never called. For the next week I was glued to my phone waiting for the day you would call to apoligize. You never called.
