Every human being on earth has at least one.
Who’s to say they don’t have even more?
Hiding under the surface, clawing their way to the top.
It’s human nature to hide all flaws,
So you say you’re sorry,
But is that so,
Then how come you hack at my weeds
When I only wish to grow.
I may have thorns, and needles, and vines,
Am I. Who I am
Or is who I am, What I'm supposed to be?
Do I conform to others,or do others conform to me?
Do I try to fit in like a lock and a key?
I am not going to be afraid
About doing what’s
Right in my mind
