I hate math
I hear them say:
I'll just take an easy math class
I can't stand math!
But why?
Why do students hate math?
Why do letters mixed with numbers cause ridiculous dread?
I am the caramel that gushes out of the center of a Ghirardhelli Chocolate square,
The man in the mirror with the sharp jaw, gap in his teeth and the kinky curly hair
Sometimes I feel like graffiti on a wall
Why do foolish kids waste paint?
In this life like prison
Where the government holds a shank
To stab the economy
On so many levels
