Poems about Animals

Down the jaded, dusty road to the west, Clouds form coalitions with no lassitude,
Caged and helpless Desperate and Alone Confused and senseless Wishing to go home
I want to retire at 21 I’m tired. And it’s pure laziness because I haven’t done much yet
I am no Englishman But I conduct constitutional statements beyond imagination and time I am no senator
Let love go, to let it return; Let love out, to let it in.
it's brown it's chocolate it's smooth it's soothing most think i'm referring to a candy i'm not
That one visit was all it took I smiled at him he wiggled before me Just a young pup behind that cage
A generation of sons flown overseas Those left at home rendered mute although screaming for truth and peace
one of my female students walks to my office body expression shaken like her life is about to be taken
Disease is the reason For the loss of my loved ones, And possibly the future Loss of others.
