Fields of Green
Mine, in my mind
I tend to them
Labor of love and ambition
No one sees my work
I was just a twelve-year-old Vietnamese boy.
I was my parents’ love and joy.
I wanted nothing more,
A young Vietnamese full of thoughts but returned with nothing but disses, ignorance is bliss.
Ain't given a chance
For romance
With education
Ain't worth living
Without giving
To this nation
We dream about anything to absolutely everything.
