Poems about Race
Every minute of my fifteen years on earth has been spent examining the various colors around me
Darkness was all that was there
Black, the color of a rising movement
Hate, the feeling that overflowed the nation
Darkness was all that was there
Black, the color of a rising movement
Hate, the feeling that overflowed the nation
I'll give my blood
to keep your stripes red.
You can keep your white,
and I can keep my freedom.
Black or white,
colors fade to gray,
we stand together,
United as one,
nothing can break determination,
(poems go here) America, like a beautiful piece of tapestry has been woven together to create a unique patter like no other.
Black and white are as opposite as the sun and the moon.
People can be so thick skulked, like stuck in a cocoon.
