“Broken Heart”

Love hurts

Love is filled with lies

Lies you told me

Lies are all you can say

Say what you feel

Say the truth

Truth is unknown

Truth is trust

Trust is earned

Trust is gone

Gone from you

Gone from us

Us doesn’t exist

Us is lost

Lost from each other

Lost under the covers

Covers your feelings

Covers your guilt

Guilt doesn’t know you

Guilt you can’t feel

Feel false love

Feel the pain

Pain caused by false love

Pain caused by you

You don’t see it

You don’t know how to see

See your crime

See what you did to me

Me, the one you hurt

Me, the one thinking of your face

Face of a liar

Face it I must, that I too am in the wrong

Wrong to believe her lies

Wrong to waste my time

Time spent waiting

Time spent loving someone who didn’t deserve

Deserve my time

Deserve my loving words

Words of affection

Words wasted on Jane

Jane the liar

Jane the mad

Mad at my words

Mad at what I said

Said the truth

Said what’s on my mind

Mind who you give your heart

Mind it well, before it's broken

Broken…

Heart…
