The day was slow, going like a cold molasses

I couldn't sleep the night before, but I listened to you snore

When we left I didn't expect this...

The first night was empty, we slept apart

But on the second I layed, and listened to your heart

The sound made me blush, but oh more when we embraced

How did we get here?

Why now are we doing this?

Are you being true, or playing a charade?

All this time I thought your heat forbayed, but there we layed

Two teens, once lovers, sharing a room 266 miles from home

We lay, blushing and laughing. I couldn't see you, but I know we were smiling.

For years these feelings were piling, along with my doubt.

once two teens, now lovers. We never did anything, but my heart does sing.
