he sat crouched,

waiting, 

and planning. 

flying through his inventory

he found what he never thought would be useful 

grabbed it, the wine skin,

and handed it over to the beast. 

t i m e flew forward 

finally

weilding the fiery torch,

poised toward the sole shut eye, 

he--- "dinnner" 

headphones come flying off 

"mommmm" 

"it's like you've been gone for weeks" 

"i'm coming"

the final journey out of the basement
