1 Child, 2 Adult

The day is bright.

The night is dark.

Time seems to stop in the arms of my mother.

Now I only dream about my lover.

I was once a small seed.

Now I'm a flower growing with greed.

The world has changed from night to day.

Growing up is the only way.

There is one way to go and that is up.

How in the world did I screw that up.

Once I was small.

I tried to handle it all.

The doubts that I had,

I should have been glad.

Exploring all day in the park,

Now I work when it's dark.

1 was a child never at fault

2 was a child stuck as an adult.

I grew in the day.

I live in the night.
