1 new message(s)

A message, a plea, a confession,

Trapped inside your phone.

The remnants of a shattered human,

A long goodbye, or an overdue I love you.

So easily opened what could not be answered.

For absence, or preoccupation.

Sitting alone, waiting to be heard,

A message for you alone.

Lost to expanses of time,

Sometimes lost too long.

Easily ignored, deleted or stored.

Why then to they stay.

A voice, a fragment, a small slice of soul,

Alone on the other side,

Of time and space and meaning

A message for you, left too long ago
