10 Toes Down

I won’t say your name

But time, and time again you showed me disloyalty was your game

Often times I wondered why things never changed, I mean subconsciously I knew you’d always stay the same

Bruh, now you got me thinking was the whole friendship in vain

Why couldn’t the energy be reciprocated?

Was it the idea of not being selfish you hated?

You had no remorse after everything was said and done...

Now I see you walking around with your head held high as if you won

My mind wanted nothing but vengeance...but my heart reminded me through all the bullshit to love you from a distance

Even on your worst days I was there...thick, and thin

So tell me which part of sincerity did you not comprehend?

Don't misinterpret what I’m saying did seeming bitter

I'm over it now, I mediated on it

Karma came quicker...
