10 Years From Now
Naive and curious you are
But still hopeful with a tenacious nature
That sets you apart from others
An identity put aside as a work in progress
Piece by piece like a jumbled puzzle
To which you gaze at the reflection
Then contemplate thoughtfully
Ten years from now
Mature and knowing you are
But still wondering with a determined nature
That sets you apart from competitors
An identity to be proud of
Admiring a completed puzzle
To which you stand before your reflection
Then contemplate thoughtfully
Ten years have passed
And I have accomplished many
