High School: Definition of self-loathing
Waking up early, walking into a building filled with judgment, hostility, and hormone driven teens. You learn how to keep quiet, stand up straight, and keep your head held high, because if you get raped, it’s your fault. They teach us to act like ladies; don’t dress provocatively so we don’t get raped. What they don’t teach you is: No means no, and you shouldn’t rape. One teacher says: Test scores don’t define you. The rest don’t give a shit about you. Teachers think we’re just ignorant teens but we can see right through them.
