"10/25/15"

“I’m sorry” is just another word to people

Love is just another lie that people share

Tears turn into pools till you’re all drained out

And life is just another game to play

When you’re tired and walking down empty hallways

You get a mere sense that your more lonely than anyone else in this world

When the people you are close with aren’t there when you need them

It’s like being hit by a wave of broken things

And when you’re a toy that gets thrown away

You get scars in different places

Some from you

Some from people

And when your hurt on the inside

No one can feel it

No one can possibly know that I’m feeling

Sad

Impossibly broken

Beyond un-fixable

And it’s a nightmare

With no ending

Because people raise others to believe that there is good

That things can always be fixed

And kids learn how to help

With everything around them

How can you help

If no one knows

If no one can feel how broken

And empty someone is

It’s pointless to live, if you can’t breathe right

If everything around you triggers you to depression

When people lift you up

Just to tear you apart

Then people get tired

Of fake words and broken promises

And I’m writing this to you

Because I understand now

Everything you did

The way you felt

The way you feel suffocated by

This pain and fake things

You did it because this world is a terrible place

When you fell

Someone saw you as a broken bird with chains around its body

So they didn’t catch you

And when you went to your room

No one noticed the broken smile on your way there

And that’s why you left

Because no one noticed

No one noticed how you were losing this game

Day by day

No one noticed the scars on your body

Because they just assumed you were okay

But you weren’t

And that’s why your gone

Buried seven feet deep in the ground

And I understand now

It was mine and everyone else’s fault

Because words are just words to others

Love is just another lie that people spread

And life is a game that you have no choice but to play

But its funny how when a glass breaks

Someone will come and clean it up

But when a Person breaks

No one’s there to pick up the pieces
