Your eyes looked so green today- you like them green.
I’m so glad the nightmares have ceased; I prayed.
The green looked like freedom- it was so beautiful.
It took away all the bad of today.
Green eyed beauty.
I was so happy to see you, my dear.
Such a brilliant shade, such a glorious rarity.
Yours, like mine, are mood-rings.
You escaped the terror and the light shone through!
Your green and my blue go together so well.
