11th Dimension
In the finite plane of a lifetime;
Catching dreams and atoms in a jar
A unique rainbow ship to learn to steer
Through tossing waves of pathways near and far
The masquerade of time my biggest fear
At the confluence of science and myth;
That space where all existence is one
A new dimension of familiar scent
All fear is vanquished in the rays of sun
And what I need is never fully spent
I need the plane beyond our understanding;
What we can’t explain in number or in word
Yet at the core of being we can feel
A soul song we have all at one time heard
Now forgotten in the question: “What is real?”
To live, I need uncertainty and doubt;
With which to form a hope from
Allowing me to glimpse infinity above
Known as Physics and as God by some
Is needed by us all as Love
