1/2 of a Whole

The pain. The confusion.

It cuts me like knives. Turning slowly in my heart.

Twisting deeper and deeper until I'm numb with agony.

I heard the change in your voice. I felt something was different. The pain. The confusion.

Memories of us pounding at the door to my mind. Losing you took half of me.

The pain . The confusion. The anger. The rejection. The hurt.

The shock. I won't beg you to stay... I don't want to get even. I just wish we could

have stayed the dream team.

Maybe this chapter is over... maybe not.

They say time heals all wounds... Will it heal mine?
