I remember walking downstairs at 6:55 to my mom and dad and Chris crying, and I remember my dad saying he died
I remember nodding my head and calmly walking out of the door and walking to school
I remember walking through the halls and going from class to class until chem and I just got up and asked Mrs. Johnson to leave
I remember everyone laughing as I got my stuff and walked out the door
I remember walking right out of the school and walking home
I remember waiting for my mom to pick me up to go to the hospital
I remember seeing my family crying and smiling, telling me to go in see him
And I remember seeing him dead on the hospital bed and instantly breaking down.
