What happens when you’re all alone With so many people around Laughing and carrying on Without even a care in the world You can’t stop the feelings That haunt your thoughts day and night That say you’re not good enough And that you never will be You want to go hide in a corner But you don’t Because it wouldn’t even matter No one would notice the difference They wouldn’t realize you were gone And if they did they wouldn’t mind Life would go on As it always has If you change schools Or moved to another state Or even if you died Nothing would change Because no one would visit you No one would call to talk to you No one would come to your funeral Because no one really cares They may ask you what’s wrong But nothing or I’m tired is always fine Because no one wants to dig deeper To find out whats really wrong Hardly anyone actually cares About anyone other than themselves They don’t see that you’re not happy Or that they could easily change that It doesn’t matter that You don’t laugh anymore You don’t smile anymroe You don’t breathe anymore Because that’s what happens When nothing good happens The bad things seem worse And nothing ever gets better You stop seeing You stop thinking You stop living You stop breathing Then all the little things That could have stopped you Don’t even matter anymore Because it’s too late Too late for him to apologize Too late for him to change the past Too late for him to save you Because once certain things are done They can never be reversed
