For what seems

Like Eternity.

She did

Dominate my dreams.

Emotional extremes

Alas no longer...

Others have usurped her

Not by my choice

Bound by honour

Surpassing stronger

June first

is so long ago

Days before a birthday,

Both are now cursed.

My emotions reversed

She speaks only of the inimical

Concentrating on the negative

Focus on the twenty percent

I remember our miracle.

Almost mythical

She told me

She is “spending time

now with someone else”

Hearing those words set me free.

A result I did not foresee

I will not lie,

It broke my heart

into the smallest pieces.

They will reunify.

To that I can testify

I never wanted another

I was always true

I breathed for only her

Saintly Hagiographer

Now, nothing left to discover...

Inglorious end of a relationship

I never thought it possible

The concept repulsed me

You with another courtship

Me with multiple partnerships

Her affection was fleeting

Others took her attention

She happily reciprocated

A different kind of cheating

The same mistreating.

Her circle supports her

against what was us.

Little did they know

What our 80 percent did incur

Magic occurred!
