15

I spent my 15th birthday

On my bedroom floor

Bottles of pills as the only company and comfort

I found my way out

With a mouth stuffed with sleeping pills,

I thought one thing:

"How could you be so selfish?"

I spit out the pills.

I pretended like nothing happened.

But I've still got the note I wrote

"I can't stand to be here anymore."
