15 years

15 Years

By: Victor Manuel Cadena

15 years of my life

more like 15 stabs from a knife

No, nothing is ever alright

I guess I’ll keep up with the fight

God, please guide me with some light

‘Cause I’m up into the night

thinking about what to write

should I write about what it’s like

about the 15 stabs from a knife

every time it was a lie

about how it’s gonna be like

the next 15 years of my life

living with no beautiful wife

living with a constant strife

living with no consistent rights

living with no personal drive

living on a rollercoaster ride

with all the up’s and down’s

nevermind the up’s just the down’s
