1:58 AM
In my room.
Just sitting listening to music,
Or watching a show for the thousandth time.
I’m slowly going back into that state of mind.
Where days, weeks, months go by.
and I’m still here.
Sometimes I look back and wish I ended everything,
and others I’m glad I didn’t.
But at the end of the day I still feel this emptiness.
The emptiness where you stare blankly, expressionless at your phone while everyone is texting or calling you,
but you don’t know what to say anymore.
“Oh it’s just one of those days I guess.”
“I’m just tired”
And then people's responses to that are just some hollow bullshit they say just so that they feel like they did something to help.
“It’s gonna be ok”
“I’m sorry”
“Tomorrow’s a new day!”
Yeah tomorrow may be a new day but this hollowness inside me will still be there.
Lurking in the night,
At 1:58 am.
