What I want my words to do to you is make you feel what I feel, what I see, what I hear, what I think, make you see who I really am, reveal the real me, answer the questions you have that have been left unanswered, show you that I am older now and I will no longer hide behind tears or even my room door, prove that I am not sorry for the choices I make but for how you perceive them, show you that I will no longer feel guilty for the way you make everything about you and take responsibility for everything I do or say, understand that I am no longer afraid of you or what you think of me, shut you down and your expectations because I will no longer stress about things that I cannot control including who I choose to love. I want my words to slam the door in your face just to show you how much I don’t care because I don’t.
