#17
My forever seventeen, I’ve grown to be nineteen, and I still remember our days like they were yesterday.
Time stopped the moment death took you in his arms, as softly as it might have been, yet it made my life spin.
They told me he is in a forever sleep, but why didn’t you wait for me? I didn’t get my usual goodnight, that’s why I still weep.
I’m now 2 years older, but we were once just seventeen, laughing about our future and forgetting there is a clock ticking.
But don’t you worry my love, in my pages and in my heart, forever alive you’ll be.
A beautiful soul like yours for eternity will always be free.
