17

17 years.

Mistakes and accidents can all be forgiven

But how much can you bend before you break?

It took 17 years for me to see

Family is just a six letter word

And friendship doesn’t mean a thing

In 17 years I grew

A collection of names

A collection of letters

17 years of experience taught me

Words mean nothing

Actions speak volumes

17 years showed me

Love can only take you so far

And forever isn’t as long as it seems

17 years

What did you expect?
