So this is peace
A smile that's been imprinted on my heart
Happiness so powerful it's contagious
Confronted myself
Looked in the mirror and told me,
"You are who you are. Look at the beauty in you."
Guided by the light from above
I surrendered myself
and allowed grace into my life
Words drip from my mouth with honor
Strength emerging from places didn't know existed in me
My head is lifted, confident in each syllable I pronounce
Unrecognizable to the old self
Doubt and bring downs have been
replaced
Angels placed along my path towards self-love
for encouragement
The Lord knowing my ears would listen
to their words of wisdom
In the midst of happy living I found me
With each day learning what me really means
