1991
Look me in my eyes
and tell me everything you see
Tell me what is missing
and I'll tell you what is free
Show me what's held captive
in this labrinth of maze
Before the land of time
behold the dynasty of days
Touch the heart that's broken
careful not to feel the sting
Time and time again
a double jump produced a king
But life's a game of chess,
the rules are simple yet complex
The similarities are close enough
that we forget
The human nature
rarely knows the nature of the human
Through repetition,
usually's where you find out how you're doing
Our daily motivated acts,
expose what we're pursuing
When time's caught standing still
the wise say "there's
no use in moving"
The moon can't tell the sun
how hot to be or when to rise
Just like the dead
have never seen a casket that's alive
The dollar sign's a symbol
it will never know a price
And now you see the things you'd see
if you looked in my eyes
