1st Love?

Never been kissed, Never been held. Always felt like a tree That’d been felled. Wanted to cry, Wanted to die, Wanted to stop always wondering “why?” But then he came, So warm and accepting. He planted a new tree Where the old Was once standing. And then she grew, Like a flower in spring. When he was around, She wanted to sing. He made her smile, He made her laugh, He made her feel As tall as a giraffe. There was no one She’d rather be with, And she found out that love In fact Wasn’t just a myth.
