(1)Why i write, (2)What my writing strives for, (3)Where I uncover my writings
Why I write:
Creative Writing is the expression of your daydreams that hang like apples of an orchard waiting to be picked from their resting place upon the tree. To me, Creative Writing is the way we can imagine different ideas, worlds, and lives as we desire. This is how we take trips we would never take, this is how we acquire adventures we would never dare to risk in real life have. Creative Writing is our way own way to do or be something different.
What my writing strives for:
Great writing is the ink of the pen, gently moved across the barren surface we call paper; so it is the very thing that can make one cry, laugh or even anger, at the sound of a fictional character’s name. The idea of great writing is mirrored to everyone and their own likes and dislikes. Upon which they can decide is this writing great. Although the idea of great writing is so simple it almost evades some writer’s, in hopes of becoming famous, finishing a paper or even just for fun. This idea of great writing is easy, yet translucent to those that can’t grasp it and move it across the barren surface.
Where I uncover my writings:
Where do my poems sit? They sit in a mind of despair, as well as the personality that none of the people I see, day to day, would ever know. They hide from the persona that would judge, defeat and cripple the nesting place from which these majestic thoughts, people call poems, originate. My true question to myself is where do they begin? Where are they born? Is it as if I blink and they are there? Are they tattooed on some barren tablet in my mind waiting to be discovered?
