Can't believe I fell for it

Made me think

You were all for it

Leading me on

Just so you can  turn around

And prove me wrong

How long have you known

Pushing me away

So it wouldn't show

Told me forever and always

Then told me it turned to

Only sometimes

Of course I want

What is best for you

But when you said it

I didn't want to think

That it was true

Told me maybe in a year

But feelings change over time

So

In other words

You will never be mine

I knew it when you told me

There will always be other guys.
